New Blog Location

27 04 2008

I haven’t blogged about anything today because I was working on the new blog location. Why did I change blog locations? Because:

  • I want other themes that WordPress doesn’t offer.
  • I can modify the core of WordPress.
  • Easier for me to work with Blog Networks.
  • I can now use JavaScript

Basically, this all tells that WordPress only has limited things on what you can do with your blog. Anyway, below is the link to the new Tesko Information Systems.

Yes it’s still a free host. I plan on purchasing a real domain if the blog already has constant high hits. But as of the moment, purchasing a domain is not an option yet.

Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition Released

25 04 2008

Yesterday, April 24, 2008 - Canonical Ltd. announced the availability for free download of Ubuntu 8.04 Long Term Support Desktop Edition.

Like I said from my previous post about Ubuntu 8.04, I’m not that much familiar with Ubuntu. All I know about Ubuntu is:

  • It will always be free of charge.
  • Even if it’s free of charge, it has full time support for their customers.
  • Ubuntu CDs contain only free software applications.
  • Ubuntu was the last OS standing in the PWN2OWN Hacking Contest, which make Ubuntu’s security image better.

Due to the fact that I wont be able to give out more informations about Ubuntu since I’m not familiar with it, I’ll just give you the link to the official Ubuntu Website - 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition News.
